Number of Martyrs reached up to 9 today. 5 from Hama, 2 from Riqah, 1 from Erbeen, 1 from Douma.
The day started with demonstrations after Fajr (dawn) prayer in Deir Ezzor, Daraa, Idlib and Damascus Suburbs, followed by arbitrary detentions in Damascus suburbs, Lattakia and Qamishli. Shelling continued on Hama where 5 martyrs were killed today followed by a period of quietness until the time of the second gathering after Taraweeh prayer, when Lattakia, Damascus Suburbs, Idlib and Deir Ezzor witnessed the largest demonstrations. Demonstrations also took place in Daraa, Raqqa, Qamishli and its towns, Homs, Hama, Aleppo and Damascus itself.
But today demonstrations didn’t pass without security and even military intervention sometimes. That extends from heavy gunfire in Lattakia which is described as if it’s entertainment gunfire, to Raqa which had also gunfire with many wounded and possible martyrs. And Inkhel, then in Mouadamyeh, Jdaidet Artouz, Kesweh in Damascus suburbs in which the security response was at its peak. The violence reached to the point of killing the activist Samer Hashash in cold-blooded brutal way in front of his wife and kids during the raid of his house in Erbeen. In other areas security forces only used tear gas canisters and suffocation gases and beating by batons to get rid of the ghost of demonstrations which seemingly exhausted the regime and its members more than the demonstrators who are increasing in numbers every day despite of injuries and detentions which is impossible to count.
Attacks on many neighborhoods and siege of non-sieged areas and the beginning of a wave of detentions in Lattakia, Raqa, Kesweh, and also in Naseeb, and Jasim in Daraa which both challenged the heavy presence of military forces in Horan plain.
